Halo – by : Alexandra Adorentto

Three angels- Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, the youngest and most human- are sent by Heaven to bring good to a world falling under the influence of darkness. They must work hard to conceal their luminous glow, superhuman powers, and, most dangerous of all, their wings, all the while avoiding all human attachments.

Then Bethany meets Xavier Woods, and neither of them is able to resist the attraction between them. Gabriel and Ivy do everything in their power to intervene, but the bond between Xavier and Bethany seems too strong.

The angel’s mission is urgent, and dark forces are threatening. Will love ruin Bethany or save her?

** spoiler alert ** As much as I enjoyed this book, their were just a few things i could not help but point out..The plot was really slow but Bethany the so called youngest angel was really.. immature.. stupid..naive.. oh gosh i cannot choose one, I’ll just stick to all of them.

She seemed like a remake of Bella.. so clingy, so obssesed.. she even let her little boyfriend get in the way of her mission with the almighty god. and i’m sorry this will contain some spoilers, but how could she even IMAGINE trying to fight against the heavens to stay with Xavier anyway? Reallyy naive.. Bella syndrome ! ❤ aha. To me the author should not have made Bethany like this a real turn off. Although the book didn’t match up to the cover i still give it errmmm 3 out of 5 stars.. Hopefully the second book will be better? I’m hoping. really hoping..because i loved this book despite it’s Belly syndrome-ness.
